Well today i saw the Off-Topic forum and decided to write about something that has been making me scratch my head all day. Let me just give you the story and how it all happened first. Today my freinds were begging me to let them "rally" my riding lawn mower. So there driving my 16.5 horsepower Craftsman lawnmower (its a BEAST) on the bike jumps nextdoor in a empty lot and they go off the side of a taple top jump which is a bout 3 feet high and pop the back tire. Know we took it back to my house and my freind said that you can spray lighter fluid or something in the tire then lite it and the tire blows up (not like bang blow up) and stays on. We tryed it no really know how it worked all we ended up doing is lighting the tire on fire about ten times. They swear they have seen people do it does any one know what im talking about or is this just a old wifes tale? It is a tubeless tire. The rest is about my one freind and his lawnmower. O ya if you wanted know my other freind dumped 4 G's into this Murray lawn mower which tops out at 45 mph. It runs off of airplane fuel and it has a 500 dollar paint job. Thought you would like to know since i was talkin bout lawn mower. Ill try to get him to get some photos so i can show you guys its awesome

I do it all the time, make sure 1 sie of the tire is on and spry something flammable into the tire and then take a match or something and drop it on it and it will go back on.

The lighter fluid trick is used to mount the beads on monster truck tires since they are so heavy. Would take 10 people to pick up on he big tire to make it grab and start holding air.

EDIT: I need to clareify my post, the explosion from lighting the fluid only pushs the sides of the tire to the sides of the rim, you still have to pump them up with air.

Starter fluid is diethyl ether. Diethyl ether has a boilig point of 36 *C. It's not that warm outside. Thus, the vapor pressure of Diethyl ether is less than that of atmopheric - it can't provide any pressure, let alone enough to fill a tire.

BLB, you also have to ignite the starting fluid ot have it do anything. It combusts and some how seats the tire on the rim. I know it works because Ive heard of tons of people doing it...

But its how u treat the napalm afterwards that makes good or bad napalm, let it set for a few days and add 50%weight of powederd aluminuim and u have yourself an exploding napalm mix :P,watch the fun  ohh and i take no responsability for any bodily harm or damage to property this is for educational purposes only and i do not condone the use or manufacurting of any exploive devices.

I would really like to no how people do this, sounds very useful for putting tires on my motorbike.

I mixed gas/vasoline/1/4 stick in a quart jar, (glass), lit it up ran like hell. It covered and burnt everything in a 25 foot area. VERY VERY NASTY!!! I'm glad there was snow on the ground, or i would have had to call the fire department. VERY VERY NASTY!!!
