Me getting paintball gun!

for the sake of raining on frogys parade, here goes

This is my crap, some of it atleast.

jersey 40 dollars or so, pants 60 or 70 i think 70

Silver gun was 715 alone, has a 40 dollar barrel tip tho, ultralite (i got it for almost free though), i modded it with a dremel on the inside to be more effecient on air.

Mask not in picture was 100 (jt cameleon changes color with light, well it has that effect)

Gloves - JT gloves 25 dollars

black gun was over 800, but i sold the electronic Z board trigger it had for 185 (the body of it is a freeflow rhythm body, company out of buisness, 400 dollar body when it was new.

I got standard pods and whatnot, i have an egg hopper with the new board, but it keeps breaking so i use my revy hopper.

I also have a spyder imagine that i bought for 10 dollars, and i decided to take a dremel too it and ruined it pretty much lol

Also have a red autococker, similar to the black one but not as good, its not functional needs some parts, the black one isnt functional either because i havent gotten a couple screws and hoses for it yet.

My air tank is like 230 new, nitro duck 68 / 45.

I probably forgot some stuff but yea thats basically it ^^ Shame you live in cali frogy, i wanna play you lol. I used to go like every weekend too, religiously. But it became expensive once my parents could no longer afford to pay for me to play. Now i work and either dont have the time/transportation. Saving for a car, going to look at used ones right now actually (coooome on mustang) but yea, il post the red one later.

Hope to start playing more when i get a car and can get there on my own.

all paintball's leave the barrle at 300 fps...

That's not true at all! Most paintball guns can fire at well over 300fps but most fields require that you adjust your gun down for safety reasons.

also, frogy for the sake of correcting you, the freak is a terrible barrel because the inserts do not lock into place. The scepter from powerlyte is cheaper as well as better. Its a great barrel. For the tippman i do hear good things about the j&j ceramic and the ultralite is good on any gun, but expensive for a tippman. JUST DONT GET THE FLATLINE. ITS A FAILURE OF A BARREL DESIGN.

COOL MARKERS Mihlrad, those are cool. I won't go near the flatline barrel, I think I will only get a barrel at a later stage. On PBNation they have a how-to on painting tippmanns, have you seen it?

its not hard, they are plastic, spraypaint works .... krylon fusion is better tho.

Actually the flatline does exactly what it is supposed to, very well. It is by no means a failure. The failure results from people trying to put cheap "brown-box" paint through it, and expecting great results.

The Freak is a great barrel, and works just a well as the Scepter. There is no need for the inserts to lock in place, nor any evidince supporting that an unsecured insert will effect preformance.

You need alot of liscenes god forbid the police catch you, and you are not liscened your in deeeeeeeep shit. This is of course only if you charge money for use of your field, if free than its legal.

Well I know the Tippmann flatlines CAN do exactly what they're supposed to , but in my many expieriances they are very hard to get working... Tippmann A5 flatlines work good almost all the time, but 98 Custom Flatlines normally "act up"...

I was shooting Empire Inertia Pro (AWSOME paintballs) and the Tippmann paintballs (I don't know what they're called, but they're a rip off) through a 98 Custom flatline, and most of the time the balls went far, but almost all of them were EXTREMELY inaccurate, I mean, I was shooting at a far left target and it'd go into the center or ther field or the right of the field a lot...

I have had one scenario though when I was at a friends house where a 98 customs flatline shot REALLY REALLY great... But I'd still don't reccommend it...

And Mihlrad I wasn't acting like my guns were "awsome", thoose are the guns that I use most of the time though... I like your PM6 a lot, but I don't like cockers that much anymore, yours looks good though...

I actually use a Red Shocker sometimes, but I sold it to someone after I got my Ion, he's "paying me off" because he only gave me $350 down when I was asking for $450...

I like my Ion though, it actually shoots very good with a FireBolt and Empire Bullets, I'm not one of thoose "Ion Noobs" that you get all the time on PbNation, If it matters, I got my Ion when they were still $300

I have worked at a paintball field for a relateively long time and I know personally that your don't make that much money running a paintball field unless you overcharge people like All American Paintball Park, but they can overcharge people because they have a Pro Team and it's fun there (they have like 6 Xbox 360s and a great field)

A paintball store is a complete different thing there, if you have the money to start one, and money to buy the stuff, you can make a killing if paintball is popular in your area...

Frogy, X-box's at a field would be sweet, but....come on, i think we only have a 15 min break between rounds, and we use most of it cooling down, and a few preping.

this is my gun, A-5 flatline stock and response trigger. $400 cheap-o. I use Draxxus balls. once upon a time I ran across these really cheap balls and they seemed like they were filled with wax, Does anyone know of a brand that sounds like that? they left a uncleanable mess where ever they hit
I play in Denim Jeans and white tee w/ darkgreen cover shirt, and basic mask, riding gloves , and honstly...im thinking about investing in a cup

just buy paintball pants they have are designed in a way that you do not need a cup, they are much more baggy in that region and have padding.

Ya, I see it would be impractical but I will set up training grounds. I still don't know when I am getting my money but I am hope soon. Alex your hopper and stock look cool, I am sure I can make a stock like that.

Which Tippmann would you rather have, the black or the silver?

I Personaly have 2 flatlines and both are awsome, they only curve when small bore paint is used or their not set straight.

painting the tippmanns is easy but the fusion paint wont work to well for anything but the flatlines shroud. as the paint has a hard time sticking to metal.

i have a total of 22 guns and their all for sell if anyone wants one drop me a line

Why do you have so many, are you a field owner or something?
What marker do you normally use when you play paintball? Some people say the flatline barrel is crap others say it is a God send, this is confusing me.
