That's fine, living in Australia we'll never have the chance to vote for a proper politician anyway. Just as long as Abbot is out I'm happyCrna Legija wrote:i dont think mines all that acurate because i dont get half the question lol.

You have to be cautious with the wording of many of those polls. Many are designed to have political bias. For example take the very first question..
You would not be able to buy an Intel chip to put in one, but would have to buy a much slower locally designed and built chip. You Could not use Windows unless you lived in the US, etc, etc.
Often times this trans-national corporations are how we serve humanity by providing low priced goods and services.
Where would you be humanity wise if you did not use imported oil, electronics, washing machines, software, etc. Is a restriction on trade really serving humanity?
Disclaimer, I work for a multi-national corporation and my job, health insurance, retirement, good wages, etc would not exist if this were the case. Let's cut out the multi-national corporations and make everyone local pheasant farmers who don't own cars, homes, computers, or use electricity. That is fair for everyone.
I hate the class envy soak the rich mentality. It is destroying jobs.
That first question is NOT one or the other. They serve both. Let's not kill the golden goose.
The poll is biased to a socialist agenda. Watch for bias.
Think about it. If you think Trans-National corporations are evil, look at your computer and think of what it would cost if the manufactures were broken down into small companies that were not international. If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations.

Definitely, I was pretty right wing with the corporate questions yet still got a left leaning result.Technician1002 wrote:I hate the class envy soak the rich mentality. It is destroying jobs.

I guess it's difficult to make questions always be interpreted the same way...
I took that question to mean 'humanity' inclusive of the workers and employees of said corporation, and inclusive of people who would benefit from the services of the corporation.
I basically took the 'interests of trans-national corporations' to mean maximising profits for the corporation, which at the end of the day is the primary interest of any business.

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

to be honest people will get strikingly similar results... I know I could slighlty reword just a few questions and the results would be different

Looks like I'm one of the few that is leaning to the right. I'm a Texan so that probably explains that.

I got the same as velocity except I was one square further down.
Some of those questions weren't very good, the ones at the end seemed more for determining a binary characteristic (Republican/Democratic) than anything else as they were typical policies that divide the two large parties.
In reality, I don't think I would be so left and Libertarian as in the quiz I had to choose between "disagree" or "agree" because there was no middle ground.

A man who believes in nothing is either very dull or very dangerous, as this is a projectile launching forum I would assume you fall in the latter categorygrumpyoldman wrote:Do I get a prize for being almost dead center?
