when I first made the swat, before me and my dad discussed rules (like staying behind it, not going anywhere near the front or sides /w/ pressure in it) my friend decided to stand in front of it at 100 psi, (I made him wear safety glasses). but with no ammo, a dry fire. It knocked him down and backwards, and his jacket was coated with lithium grease splatter ( I had just greased the piston). we laughed forever. hid hand got hit with a glob of grease, and he said he could finally feel it a half hour later, and it was red. not anything recent, I would not let him now, nor would it be safe.
Persistence is a measure of faith in yourself
Was shooting my bow in my old back yard ,and aimed it to high the arrow went into some rich guys yard and buried the first 6 inches of the arrow in the ground near where the guy's head (it missed him thank fully) was (he was laying down 1/2 an inch over and he would be dead) but he lived. He called the cops and I hide my bow and the 5 remaining arrows I had. It is a pity he broke the one that went in his yard it was my best one.

The first time i thought..."oops." was when i first build my pneumatic, three years ago...there wasn't any valve, we just stucked a 28mm marble and pumped the whole thing. when the pressure behing was too big, it flew off...but this time, it couldn't get out...we were at 100 psi in a coke bottle (1.5 L) and i was aiming at the target...and then....BOOM just ouch my shoulder!!! the marble flew so quickly, we couldn't see it, but we heard it hit our books stopers, and....go through, and...bouce ff a tree, and...finaly end in a little river!!
another time, i was charging in CO2 my little homemade pelet gun...the pressure gauge indicated 170 psi in the blowgun, so i stoped it quick, but the gauge coudn't resist...it popped out and went directly in my arm...a damn loud bang, smoke, carbon snow, and a big big bruise!!! it hurt more than the worst paintball shot i've ever encountered.
There was a time when i was shooting my pelet gun, i shot in my backyard...i had put several boks to stop the pellets and prevent'em from going in my neighbors garden. but, it was somekinda strange to aim with that thingy...i shot a pellet...and about a second after the shot, i heard a damn loud bang..so i go to investigate, and what i found is that the pellet went just near the books, went through the bushes, and hit their wooden garden house! about 100 meters from me.
another time, a friend and I were shooting the marble cannon in the forest. we had a great time, skipping the marbles on the water...we also had an empty vodka bottle, and we filled it with mud and water. We saw a grandma with her dog...so we ceased fire for a moment but she saw us! so we turned 180° put the bottle so there wasn't any risk of hitting her, and shot at the bottle! mu everywhere, water splashing, and the marble actually going through pretty fast and lodging in the river!

I was shooting AAs through a coffee can and one went into my neighbors yard.
Another time I was shooting off bottle rockets through the window of my garage, and my neighbor catches me and yells at me to stop.
One time I was trying to shoot a big water jug off like a missle. I sprayed some propane in from a torch and light it, and it didnt work very well. I had the cap, so I made a hole in it and put that on. Again, I put some propane in and lit it. Well, I had too small a hole and the whole thing just shattered. My dad though I had lit off an M80.
A few weeks ago I was raking leaves and had missed some, so I just decided to burn them. Well, they didn't want to burn too well, so I mixed up a quick batch of smoke mix (KNO3 and sucrose) and poured it on. This was a 16ounce cup by the way. That made a huge cloud of smoke, and it lit up really bright. My sucrose was powdered sugar and my KNO3 was pretty fine, so that may have contributed to why it burnt so fast.

On my new fire extinguisher paintball gun one of the threads holding the chamber turned and went loose at 115psi....the FE shot of the gun and into my garage hitting my hand on the way...that was both my funniest ans scariest moment.
scariest moment would have to be when I was "troubleshootiong" mine in the back of the truck, and dumba55 me had the barrel towards the front section of bed and the cumbustion chamber at the tailgate side. So i was testing the flint, and needless to say theres a huge dent in the truck. and it smells lemony fresh to this day...lol....
funniest moment about 10 minutes after my scarriest moment, I had the length across my open tailgate, with the cover off to inspect the flint.....well I had my face a ways back from the chamber and burnt my contacts... , but more funny was when I coxxed my wife to try it....shes still shaking
