When I first got into car audio most everyone i know said no to audiobahn, but they never owned audiobahn just heard gossip. So I did a little research and found that A LOT of people do not think audiobahn is good, but when I find good responses there really good. So I ordered some subs from audiobahn that are due here tomorrow to see for myself, and i know if i asked on a audio forum everyone would flame me for thinking about using audiobahn's. Anyone here have or know people that have experinces with audiobahn?

Okay, so I got them in, and turn them up (no need to "break in") and it sounds great in the cab, but outside all we could hear was rattle, and i know with old subs the trim across the back rattled on the glass, but it wasnt that, it was the box bouncing around....the sealed box was WAY too small for the sub, the whole box was jumping ....sighing i cut a hole in the side in both boxes to let it breath, and it works great now, not exactly clean but its a lot better than nothing.
2 AW120T's hooked up to a A8OO2T , so far so good.

The rattles are mainly due to lack of sound deadening, buy some sound deadening and do your whole cabin fi you want some much clearer sound with tou the rattles and make sure to port the box properly
place a pipe in the box so it has something to keep it from loosing control easily.By the way who cares what brand of car audio you use,as long as it sounds great to you there is no problem because speakers are for listening mainly not for looking at.Well i listen to them more then i look at them any way.

in my car, i have a JVC headunit, alpine type r components, 1 type r 12, and may get some focal 6x9s in the back. When it comes to subs, i will always have Alpine or JL Audio, i think they are the best brands. I have always had them and really like them, they seem to be a very high quality. Ive heard good and bad about audiobahn, most of the ones ive heard sounded good, but ive also heard of some people having problems, but i have no personal input, ive never dealt with them.
And as rna said, the rattling isnt the subs, its your car, dynamat would help a lot, it makes the panels of your car a lot sturdier. Congrats on your new subs though and good luck with them!
