Is this sword worth anything???

Those engravings kind of look Norse… oh wait I think it Persian, or from some other place in the Middle East. Maybe Indian, as they used the dogs head like that, the engravings are not Chinese, there defiantly from some place farther west than that. I’ll bet that it’s from the Middle East, they used swords like that and symbols similar to the ones engraved on it, and the dog head might be actually be a lion.
Even with the tip broke it’s probably worth a pretty penny. Oh and if it’s as old as I think it is it probable has drawn blood, most likely quite a bit of it too. Killa, how does the blade look, is it smooth, or ragged? And is the taper concave, strait, or convex?
But yeah, I’m almost positive that it’s a Middle Eastern sword, Pakistan, Persia, India, someplace like that.

I did some short research the type is a cutlass, which is pretty europen the all but the dog thing on the handle which seems perisan or some thing, it might just be a plain old cheap sword made earn the maker a few bucks, but I don't see any cheapness/Gettoness, the material of the grip might tell you something, also the finger guard looks like it has equal width allittle getto like a scrap strip of metal but might indicate that is acually handmade. I guess that leaves me still just as lost. tell me what you think the handle grip made of, and any slight indication of gettoness

No iknowmy3tables, it’s all Middle Eastern, it called a scimitar, I think, but I know it’s from the Middle East, I’ve studied ancient weaponry. it doesn’t look “getto” at all just old. If killa ever tells me what the blade looks like I can give y’all more information.

I agree it is probebly middle eastern, but other than the dog thing it pretty fancy and like a european cutlass, I bet it has had some influence by one or the other, I predict that this is a late middle eastern sword not extremly old, but made as a hand made product to appeal to upper class and tourist made to be a pretty, yet affordable sword, so I'm not sure what the hell I'm saying, pretty much its a collectable thingy with not much historical singnifcance my dad has some blades that are like that
