If you're trying to get sodium, this will take a really, really long time to get any decent amount.

wiki tells me $30 a gram, in 1997, so its prolly more now
also, its so reactive that it would most likely make a compound as soon as it was exposed to air and would go boom, and it can be used to make dirty bombs so i doubt someone would sell it to me w/o proper licensing

The idea was to show you that it's quite dangerous to play with that stuff. The reaction with chlorine to make sodium chloride is even more vigorous than sodium's reaction with water.sandman wrote:yea too expensive, so ill make my own![]()
