Yusef? Your Ipad's autocorrect likes a bit of <s> Simon and Garfunkel?</s> Cat Stevens, what the fuck was I smoking last night?

It's a sound synth, and I'm certain I could find quantities of one of the reagents far easier than the product of the reaction...

Kind words from abroad. (don't Jack...just...don't  )

The parts seem to have beaten the main feature to the door. Hope your 2240 shows up soon so you can finish things off....should be a sharp looking piece. 8)

Enjoy the parts Jake. :)

Well I've er... been told that even if one is aware that it is all part of the act, a little flattery and the stroking of um... egos does go some distance towards loosening the purse strings

Indeed, but a certain person has done in excess of 70 attempted shots with a 45cc hybrid using syringe metering with no success, and that's with favourable chamber geometry...

Has the gentleman tried using a manual pressure device as opposed to something lifted from an ailing refrigerator?

I've done a good dozen with a hand pump, and I'll do a lot more this evening. I know the spark gap works, without charging the chamber I get a 12mm arc to the centre terminal, when I take it up to 40 Bar, I get perhaps a 3mm spark. If I had an accurate gauge at those pressures I'd purge the chamber and try it at 33 Bar

I would test at 10x. Are you absolutely sure that you don't have any leaks? Even a tiny one will throw your mix off in the time it takes you to disconnect the pump.

I lose about 1cc a minute at 40 bar, but the compressor has a slight leak at the connector. Most of my tests have been at 12x, but I've been down to 4 and up to 16, the limit of my good gauge.
