Nobody else remember any good quote's?

Edit: Hell yes I'm complaining about you guys!!!
Yes, I agree, it’s one thing to talk down about a man behind his back, but there’s nothin’ lower than talkin’ down a dead man.

Jrrdw, if you mad at me, sorry but somebody’s got stand up and defend the guy, and I’m tryin’ to keep the arguments under control.

All I did was point out that Poland_spud's comment was rude and disrespectful, then other people took it from there.
Kind of like your doing now, your perpetuating another debate.

but not using the thread to fuel other arguments.

I wasn't participating in the argument. To further my point, this will be my last message here.

Jrrdw, MrCrowley, what’s your problem? I believe this debate is peaceable enough.
I hope your not made at me… I know I was debating a bit, but I did ask everyone two, three, maybe even four times to be respectful, yet people still had to chime in with disrespectful comments.

Ragnarok’s post was down right disrespectful and it wasn’t till after I said something to set it strait that people started complaining.

MrCrowley, I feel your being bias, you’re the one that’s lock every single politically incorrect thread. Are your the only moderator the patrols anymore, you're kind of the only one I ever see?

I would like to see where this goes provided that from this point on if you have an opinion voice it a way that does not down trod on others opinions. And remember that this thread is about some one who supported the "right to bare arms" in the United States.

Rules for posting..should be something like this...

1)Be respectful..share your opinion don't shoot down others

2) Read and try understand others opinions doing so will help you to understand the members on this forum. Take time to click on there portfolios and read up on them get to know them.

3) If you don't have anything nice to say or anything that will add t this topic or thread it is better to not post at all.

No one should be punished for posting thier opinion as long as it is reasonable and follows within the forum rules...

So what you are implying is that you can start a discussion, but everyone who disagrees with you is being disrespectful?

I didn’t start the discussion, Ragnarok did. He was being disrespectful be talking down the beliefs the our Country was founded on and that Charton fought for.

Hedgehogs were actually quite effective ASW weapons, though I think the mammals would not work as well.

That being said, I'm almost sorry I created this post. Just wanted to share the news with others (although most people would inevitibly find out except MrCrowley :)), not start this war.

the real problem here is that there are some people who take everything too seriously, they don't respect the fact that others may have different point of view than them and one can't discuss anything with them becasue they feel offended whenewer snomeone say something they disagree with + they start talking about banning people or they start using explicit lg etc.

I don't think that discussing the right to bear guns is something unusual in a thread like this - well I don't think that Charton Heston would have something against disscusung it.

sorry if anyone feels offended by my first post I didn't want to be disrespectful

Yes I am the only current active moderator, aside from the admin, PCGUY.

I lock the threads because it's against the rules, go to Theopia if you want to discuss them.

And for the last time THIS IS A SPUDGUN FORUM, not a general, free speech forum.

If it's against the rules, I can lock it. Yes I am aware I wrote the new rules, but PCGUY did approve them.

If you have a problem, ask him. But i'm sure he'll give you the same answer as me.

Honestly Judgement_Arms,

It seems like you think you are allowed to discuss your beliefs openly, but POLAND_SPUD is not. His first post wasn't that bad, just something that you can easily ignore. It wasn't anything that needed to be deleted.

Then as soon as he shares some of his beliefs, and you do too, you think by sharing what he believes in, he's is in denial to what you believe and is trying to force it on you.

He really isn't forcing anything on anybody, more then you are.

As soon as someone shares their beliefs, someone gets offended because they don't believe in what they do, and it goes on and on.

By punishing POLAND, I would be being bias. You have posted what you think is right and wrong, which then offends other people, and you get offended by that.

So it doesn't work.

Thread locked. If you now feel like honouring this man's legacy, go to theopia.
