As seen in the "next contest" thread a new contest has been discussed, I just wanted to get peoples votes and opinions on weather we should have a spudgun contest or an ammo contest.
VH was awesome!!

An ammo contest would certainly be cheaper and easier to participate in methinks.

I would say ammo contest as long as there are the categories that you mentioned in the other thread, the ones with the people that have cnc lathes and the people that don't have many tools.
Edit: I also think that the prize should be spud bux, since I don't really like the idea of an entry fee. (An entry fee of real money at least)

It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.

Ammo, I already have an idea...
Ecclesiastes 1:9 - What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
Ammo. Cheaper, faster to make and we should get some really original designs.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Why would you have an ammo contest? That's dumb. Half the time you can't find what you shoot which is why I don't spend time making ammo. Plus spudfiles is a potato gun site not a potato gun ammo site.

I agree. Although having cool ammo would be rather cool, but not as cool as having a cool spud gun. And you can spend ages making some ammo and then its gone (poof) in an instant.

I have several types of ammo:
1. Long distance
2. Damage
3. Misc(meaning anything that fits and I don't care if I loose it or not)
It'd be cool to see what types of ammo people make if they're trying to achieve maximum distance/damage. If I spent a decent amount of time to make ammo, I would make sure its re-useable and either mass produce-able so I can loose it without caring or its easy to find.

that would be the whole point of the contest. To see who can make the best cheap, reliable, re-usable, and adaptable ammo.MrCrowley wrote: ...It'd be cool to see what types of ammo people make if they're trying to achieve maximum distance/damage. Ammo. Its just new and easier with time and money. We just need to work out the prize (spud bux) and the rules (please no monetary limits ).

Ammo, and yeah make the prize spudbux.Im having some could ideas already *runs to drawing board*.And yeah i agree no monetary limits but it think that people should be limited to one entry.
Edit- But if we do ammo can we have an allowance for smoke stuff and maybe a little pyrotechnics?

Alright then, The categories will be best penetration, best adaptability, overall coolness 8) , and best speed. Sound Good? And I think the prizes should be: 1st= 1000 Spudbucks
2nd= 500 Spudbucks
3rd= 250 Spudbucks
Moderators look at this (especially Pcguy) and tell me if this can happen.
