possible, but if you think of the numbers, you need a lot of force to make a person jump

It wouldn't be too hard to build, you would definitely need a regulator so you don't launch yourself over your house..............sorry, fun thoughts.

I agree with salad. What were you thinking of making it out of? I don't think it'd be safe to put enough pressure needed inside normal sch 40. Then again, you'd probably want to use metal pipe anyways.

well you could eigther just substitute air pressure for a spring or you could some how trigger it to shoot down some sort of dowl everytime you hit the ground

I'm not sure if this topic was being taken seriously but here's my idea. It uses a valve kinda like the supah valve, when the rod gets pushed back up into the "barrel" it triggers a Slyder Valve (Clide's Slyder) and stops the air input also dumping the pilot valve. This releases the air into the "barrel" causing the the rod to extend like a hydraulic arm. If you need any more explaining or care to tell me I'm wrong, just post it. I hope this helps pyromaniac. That's supposed to be one big chamber instead of 2 smaller ones. Also, I think this design can be used in a cannon.

no to mine its more check valve (when you hit the dowle part hits the valve releseing some pressure(this brings to light how much pressure would be needed))

To post pics, instead of using the quick reply at the bottom of the window, go right under that and there's a button that says "add reply".
Then it has a place to post pics (press the "browse" button to find one from your computer)

This thread is starting to seem like a chat room

It's basically the same as Clide's Slyder gun except that when the rod is pushed all the way up it basically triggers the Slyde Valve causing the piston to fire again, activating the hydraulic ram of the pogo stick. Check out the Slyder gun here to see what I'm talking about. Also, I think this could be a way to make a full auto gun.

Please tell me you understand this because I'm gonna design a full auto cannon off of this.
