I saw this as an advertisment a few weeks ago. Frankly I called bullshite initially, though it looked plasible.

I wondered the same thing at first until I found some other videos including one with the Mythbusters where they compared serial processing against parallel processing. They had a servo aimed paintball gun draw a smiley face one ball at a time, then painted the Mona Lisa in parallel.
