I'm working with system that would need a FAST reciprocating hydraulic cylinder. Valve would need to work with no electrical power.. only way to make it is to use pilot operated valves.. I think  We actually have a cylinder that can run fast and we need it to go 600 strokes / min.

BUT.. most valves break down after some time or cannot be operated at those speeds at all (600cycles/min). Valve that I would need to find is normal 2 position directional control valve for the cylinder (pilot operated probably) but have any of you seen fast enough valve for doing this

valve need to be able to flow over 150l / min and pressure of about 200-250bar :D

Please let me know if any of you know a manufacturer of fast hydraulic valves

This is for a project at work and I will try to help with it :bounce:

A diesel fuel injector is faster than that (they run up to about 4,000 cycles/sec) but the flow and input pressure (~20 ATM?) probably isn't high enough. There are some very high pressure diesel injectors (up to 10K ATM).

thanks, but I would need something like 4/2 or 5/2 directional control valve to drive the cylinder
