Testing this "sodastream" aluminum co2 canister as a low cost compressed air tank. 0.6 liter internal capacity, 250 bar factory test pressure, and 166 bar working pressure, lightweight. The regulator is for co2 from 0 to 7 bar, and supports about 150 bar at the input. Normally I inflate it to 120 bar to shoot my hybrids. It weighs 1.1 kg with regulator included.
It has a threaded check valve that fits my high pressure pump.
Low price HPA "sodastream" bottle

That bottle is much more expensive around here. A paintball canister costs about USD 242 against USD 23 for sodastream. The regulator has to be sold separately, it costs about USD230, which gives a total of about USD500 for the paintball canister.
The system that I adapted, costs complete, with regulator and adapter with adapter included, about USD60 or 70.
Besides, the regulator has 800 psi at the outlet, useless for my hybrids, because I can't use more than 150 psi of precompression. This one that I show regulates between 0 bar and 125 psi with great precision and without any modification, which is the useful range for me.
A separate complication is the harsh import conditions that currently apply in my country, and the lack of stock in this item, rubbish.

Better I don't think, but for my application, much much cheaper and easy to get. These bottles are of excellent quality Israeli manufacture.
