Well, my parents hate the whole "building a cannon out of easily obtainable products is fun to me" thing, but with what small cash i have, i still try to improve my old cannons (which is why i havent really been on the cannon discussion threads lately, no input of mine is needed).

Anyway, my parents made me a deal: If I make my car payments for all of this year, they will put that money into converting my garage into a game room. I jumped on that idea in a heartbeat.

So now, I have the following things decided:

-I will have an entertainment center in the corner for video games (my Xbox, PS2, N64, SNES, etc.) hooked up to a TV projector (making the screen approx. 8 feet wide).

-My walls will be painted all black, except for one wall which will be white for my projector. The black will seem to "digitally" morph into the white with a pixel design. On the three solid black walls, I will have small murals of the 1980's style games going on like Asteroids, Pac-Man, Galaga, Tetris, etc.

-It will have my pool table in there.

-The dimensions are approx. 24x28x10 (LxWxH).

-I want to have that arcade-style shotting game called Area 51: Site 4 in there.

-Dart board is a must.

So now I need your help deciding what else needs to go into a game room. I need help thinking of what kind of seating for the entertainment area, what kind of signs should go in there (neon signs?), and what other kind of games are needed.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

And, as an added bonus, if your suggestion, or likeness of, is good enough to be put into my game room, you will have a small plaque put above it with your name on it, declaring you as the idealist for it's purpose. (My uncle does engraving. Free! Huzzah!)

Thanks

A small bar in one corner :D

P'raps fixed bench type seating along unused wall space for people to lounge about on without getting chairs everywhere.

I would set up some food and the likes for any company. Following this idea, I would have at least two comfy chairs and a beanbag chair or two. A small soda machine would seem a little to extravagant, but any way of dispensing drinks would be good.
I would also suggest a cabinet or rack for all the games/ movies/ pornography.
And maybe for added effect, a rack for your completed guns. I think that would look cool.

You need seats set up with surround sound.Nothing better than sitting in a big ole lazy boy style seat with speakers right next to your head.Makes halo o' so much more entertaining.
And you need pinball.Got to have pinball.
BTW: can I be your new best friend :)

Overstuffed leather chairs are a must. Don't forget the strobelights and old neon signs.

Personally I would have a pool table but that might be a little too big. I would center everything around the center of the room where I would put a huge bean bag and side table. Wireless surround sound headphones is a must, for when you don't want to disturb anyone with music/games/ect.

Your lucky.

Set up a karaoke machine/ bar/ stage somewhere for those nights when you feel intoxicated and annoying. Also, some tables/ side tables would be nice. Don't forget to post pictures of this when it is done.
