Has anyone used or heard of anyone using these as a Co2 source? I want to make a regulated Co2 setup for a metal pneumatic but I don't want to have a tank refilled if I don't have to.
I seen them at Wally-World the other day and they also had o-rings, and adapters for them. The two pack was only $10.00 if IIRC.. These could be a very portable Co2 setup for smaller bore cannons. I'm sure they wouldnt last as long as a 20 oz Co2 bottle, but you don't have to refill them, their small, and you can get two of em for 10 bucks...

I have used it in a simple ball valve cannon.
Essentially 1/4" ball valve 1ft of 3/4" steel, and a 1/8" barrel.
I connected it using some paintball bottle connection+adapter.

I wouldn't recommend buying them. It would be much more cost effective to buy a 9 or 20 oz because they only cost like $10-$20, and you can refill them.

I really want to do away with the need for an air compressor. I have a small automotive type compressor thats supposed to be used for tires only. It takes it about 3 minutes to reach 120PSI on my cannon.
I have no experience with paintball and I was wondering how much a refill on a 20oz bottle would cost. My main question would be, that if I used a 20oz Co2 bottle about how many shots could I get out of this cannon at 120PSI? If the number is over 50 shots per refill I will definitely go with a refillable 20oz bottle.
The chamber is 2" black steel reduced down to 1"

With that size chamber, you could probably get ~20 shots from a regulated 20oz. I can get all my paintball tanks filled for free because I am friends with like everybody at my local Paintball Authority, but you could get a 20oz refilled for ~$4.

why not use one of those refillable co2 tanks for paint ball, get a remote with a quick disconnect hook up then you should be able to fill your gun multiple times for relatively cheap. The whole set up new from my local paintball store was about 50 bucks
