OK after posting numerous quesions I have finnally got to thr point where I can say that my gun is looking great! The only thing that you spud gunners never came up with is the less known valves which are hella fast and cheep. The gun is made from an alli smooth bore, shoots self made pellets. It uses the valve mentioned and has a woaden stock, I will post some pics in a while, I hope i will finish this week end(i have 6 essays à 1000 words to write so im not sure). Tell me what you think, I know the discription is not very good so ask me for any detailes, i am always happy to be distubed from a french essay or an english allegory...

I'm sure we're all looking for valves which are "hella fast and cheap".
Got a name for this valve? How about a link? A description?
Waiting on pics.

ok so i will try to discribe how to build it and you lot tell me is it is any good: First you take a 4mm copper pipe. Then you put a 3.5mm screw into one end and fix it with super glue, epoxy or solder it. Now put one or two O-rings at the end of the tube to seal it off. Next you take the end part of of a bike pump, any hollow tapped object with a diameter of 4mm will do. Put it onto the tube with the screw. Now drill 4 holes into the tube ABOVE the end of the hollow object. Get a small nut that will just fit on and glue it about 1inch above the object thing. Add a compression spring above the object to push it down. Now if you pull on the nut, holding the object the tube goes into the pressurized chamber and the air goes through the holes. If you let go the o ring seals the chamber off, the only important part about this is to use moterate pressures and to have strong fingers or like me a good trigger system where i can use my whole arm

Sounds like an improvised pull-off safety valve or something...

If you don't have a camera, borrow someone elses, if you don't know anyone else, go buy a camera.. and if you are not near a store, buy one online, and If you dont have a credit card to buy one online borrow one from your parents or a friend, and If they dont have one.. then I guess no pictures is fine.. I guess....

The only way that valve would be explosive would be if it joined Hezbollah, that's practically how all pneumatic airguns work.jitup wrote:I found an instructable w/ some thing similar
