The only thing on google about hammers is the instructables with the explosive air realese and a little on a website where some one takes apart a crossman 2200. I personally am a huge fan of hammers they are cheep, easy to use and make and have a relatively high flow and require no pilot. I am only suggesting this solution so that new members can just look at a single page and see all valves we could even make some kind of rating system(flow, opening speed ect.). I am happy to help out, but not if i the only one...And let my finsihe my first gun first, i sound dumb when i comment on somehting and dont even have the practiacal experience.

Easiest by far is the ball valve.

Simplest is the sprinkler valve (but it'll take a tiny bit of kno-how to make)
