For my project, I have a 20oz. CO2 canister with a Palmer Pursuit Stabilizer. I am running standard 3/8" ID Spray Hose (airline) into a hose barb on the end of my cannon. My question is, is this hose strong/durable enough to handle the coldness of the CO2 running through it? I will be shooting probably 10-12 tennis balls per minute. I am concerned about the hose splitting because of the coldness.
Is this something to worry about or should I upgrade to some stainless remote lines like off paintball setups?
Is standard air line hose suffice with CO2?
I, personally, wouldn't trust the spray hose for use with CO2, even with a Palmer's Stab. I'd go with either some macro/micro line or a steel braided hose. There will be no question if these cannot handle CO2, as that is what they are designed to do.
