I did accidently raised the preassure in my compressor to high and the cylindertop gasket blew at maybe 60-65bar, i forget to open a ballvalve... I changed gasket and fixed it but it blew it again today at just 38 bar.
How high preassure did your fridgies handle before fail, and what part failed?
Which preassure destroyed your fridge compressor?
Fridge compressor, generaly can work at 40bar maxi or 580psi.
To up it to 70bar, or more, ou can dispose two compressors in series, but it's very dangerous and you must to be informed on the subject.

Yes, but im just interrested in how much other spuder has tested their fridgys to and what parts usually fails then something has failed..Mimikool wrote:Fridge compressor, generaly can work at 40bar maxi or 580psi.

2 compressors wouldn't help me in this case.
Ho, sorry ^^
So, from de french spuder and my tought, i think i can say that is the dead volume witch stop the compression.

Had someone here who did 1800psi with three compressors chained together, roughly 120 bar.
