I had an aluminum qev that worked great but I noticed many things about it that could be improved so I decided to try to make one myself. At first I thought about casting one out of aluminum with a 3d printed mold but it turned out that the 3d print was more than strong enough by itself especially when printed completely solid.

There was definitely a big improvement in performance and the material cost was just 1£ compared to 40£ that the aluminum one was.
