This is my first dual chamber spud gun. The chambers are made from dual 2' lengths of 3" pipe. The shown barrel is a 4' piece of 1.5" pipe. I have both 1" rainbird sprinkler valves pneumatically actuateded by a single blowgun. I know the chambers aren't completely symmetric in their construction, thats just because I salvaged them from other gun I have been working on. Just wanted to see if I could get a larger one working. I've only tested it up to 60 PSI so far due to leaks I need to fill when it reaches higher PSI's. They are an easy fix with a little epoxy though. It has more than pleased me in the test fires.
I still have quite a few things I have planned for this. Upgrading the current hosing is an obvious first, since these are only rated to 65 PSI. Also plan on adding a plywood or sheet pvc brace to help keep the barrel stable. Hope yall enjoy it.

Yeah I know. I'll do my best to get new ones in the nest day or so. Using my video camera to take the pics and unfortunately it doesn't have a flash on it.

I love how you pneumatically actuateded the sprinkler valves.
But seriously, for your first pneumatic this is really good. I loike the paintjob too.

Thanks, its actually my 2nd completed one. Have lots of in progress one as i'm sure most people do. It's just my first double chamber attempt. Yeah the pneumatic trigger seems to work pretty good. I was a bit worried that with it actuating 2 valves with one blowgun, it might restrict the airflow. Not sure how to test this though.

The chambers are actually the same size. Mabe it's just the poor quality in the pics that make them look uneven. The barrel in the 2nd pic kind of looks like it may be the other chamber because of the angle. The only difference between the two chambers are the couplings used...unfortunately one is DWV, and one has a random 1/2 screw sticking out of the side.

Looks good, but is it just me or is the endcap on the left chamber (looking down the barrel/ first picture) attached with bolts ? Honestly, that's how it looks.

No its all sovent welded. I originally had it so the hose barb connecting the two chambers was on that side. But due to how I shoot from my house. It worked out alot better for me to make sure there schrader valve was on the right of the cannon. I just switched the sides of the chambers, put the hose barb on the opposite side, and filled the old hole with an extra 1/2" bolt I had.

How do you fill up both tanks at the same time? sorry, im looking to make a double chamber based off your exact design...i want to make sure i get everything right.
Noice cannon, I still haven't made a duel chambered launcher. Paint looks to have turned out really nice. All the connections are looking nice as well.
Just a few things if I may. If possible I would consider shorting the hose, as you may be hampering your potential performance with that length of hose. Also a support between the chambers, and barrel would reduce stress on some critical joints. Unfortunately aesthetically pleasing ones are hard to come by. Last of all I would suggest in future builds position all of the small protruding components in the cavity of your design. Below is some visual aid.

See if exterior components are mounted out of the cavity, they can be break when laid on a flat surface. Rather if they are in the cavity they are at least protected against flat surfaces. Hopefully that makes sense.
