Ok new idea, i think ive found the perfect idea for a semi auto. The base trigger design was inspired by clide, but ive changed it a little. Also i think that gobstoppers would be the perfect small bore projectile. ther'e perfectly round, kinda heavy for their size, and would be like bullets. best of all there cheap.

for a detailed description of how the slid valve and piston work go to http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/semi-auto-t160.html

now for some changes
the piston allows the tank to be filled up, but when pressure is equal, it seals itself. when you pull the trigger, the slide valve exausts the exta air, and causes the piston to fly back, letting the air in the tank out. the slide valve will be hooked up to an air compressor continuosly. as soon as you let go of the trigger it fills the tank again.

The auto reload is triggered when the air leaves the chamber, pushes a piece of pipe to make a seal inside the tee while letting all the air to push the gobstopper.

there has only been a few semi auto guns actuly made and your idea looks posible with a lot of time effort and money. one very minor problem is the ammo i havent eaten gobbstoppers in a while but if i remember corctly they are not all the same size and that could cause to be a problem. i would realy like to see some more semis on this forums o go for it
