Hey everyone
I have made my small bore (15mm barrel) pneumatic gun with modded sprinkler valve, pressure gauge, stock and suppressor.
I was wondering if anyone had any more modifications/ideas i could do to it to make it better.
Thanks
Marco

hey,
you could rifle the barrel if you how too!
you could also give it a coat of paint if you already haven't
and you could also put a breech loader on it!
anyways thats just my suggestions...
i would like to see some pics too if possible.

Hey
I forgot to mention is has a breach loader and a secondary supportive barrel over the barrel to add support to it while i aim and fire.

The suppressor is made by making a few holes in the end of the barrel, then placing a larger tube over them and filling them with wool. It takes the bang out of the shoot, but it still makes a "poof" sound, so my ears don't ring anymore after each shot :P

I have a slightly rifled barrel aswell and once i feel satisfied ill paint it

Here are some pictures of it.

Ok, do you think laser sights or just iron sights would be better?

why would a pneumatic in such a configuration make a noise loud enough for your ears to ring?
Something doesn't sound right.
even with an over sized chamber it shouldn't.

If you were using consistent projectiles, say marbles, then you could reasonably calibrate a laser sight - for anything else however, a shotgun style down-the-barrel rib will do.

it depends how consistent they are - if you had to hold the cannon in a fixed spot, would they always hit the target at the same place?

Probably when i find a design i like, but at the moment im experimenting with a disign for bullets.
Couldn't i just mount the laser sight or iron sight looking streight down the barrel of the gun, no elevation adjustments or anything, just dead streight in line and down the barrel, would that work for any balanced projectile?

The iron sights would be ideal, if it works for shotguns then I'm sure it will do fine.

The laser sight on the other hand will point to a specific point - even if you have it zeroed for a consistent type of ammunition at a specific range, the point of impact will vary as soon as you start altering the range, so without consistent ammunition it will be impossible to determine where the shot will fall.

you might find this helpful, there are details of the adjustable (for windage - left & right) iron sights I fitted to my 10mm pneumatic >>here<<
