Question about my fill valve

Oh boy! My first post!
I have a valve from an auto parts store, and it looks like a schraeder (God I hope I spelled that right ) valve, in terms of the threads, but the part that goes in the reservoir is covered in a tough rubber, kind of like an inner tube, but thicker. It has a ring of rubber at the top, so it won't pop out easily, then it tapers down until the rubber is gone, and the threads are exposed. I can't recall the brand name, and I'm not good with computers, so I can't do images. What I need to know is, if I lock the valve in place with super glue, is it safe to pressurize? I have already tried it at 80 psi, but I don't want to tempt fate by going higher until I know it's safe. Sorry for being vague, but any help is welcome!
Curse the auto store for being the only one within an hour's drive, and carrying one type of valve!

i have the same kind of valve I can't get it to seal at 5 psi air leaks around it

Yes sir, you are safe for pressurization. Though the threaded types of schraders (those with threads on the bottom end for screwing into the air chamber) are generally deemed safer and easier to use, I assure you that the type you have is perfectly safe for use. (I have used one up to about 125 PSI, with no problems).

just for clarification, the valve is mounted in the chamber and not just glued on top correct?

If so, drill a hole about the diameter of the neck (smaller is better) so it's really hard to push it through. Stop when it gets to the fat part. Use something like blue tac (aka tikky-tac, poster putty; it's that blue sticky stuff that's used in schools) to make a good seal. Mine doesn't leak at all.
Here's a picture of how I mounted mine. Black is the pvc, orange is the schrader, and blue is the blue tac.

look in compressor parts-- that item is for an air tank that would be carried to a flat and such.

That's not it exactly, but it's essentially the same idea, i.e. hard to push through. The endcap to the chamber has a drilled hole, and I put superglue on the side of the hole. The valve is a bit more conical than yours, so it fits the side of the hole very nicely, and should not pop out, unless the pressure is obscene. Thanks to all who helped!
