Jack, I applaud your effort to show him the difference, but did you really have to choose the negative man points video that was guaranteed to give a straight man an aneurism?

My apologies, here's what happened.
JSR's train of though: Let's see, manpoints, broken auto lights, ooh ooh I have a perfect youtube vid in mind!
*searches for "50 cal taillights" on youtube*
Right, that's sorted, now, how to represent negative manpoints, hmmm...
*ponders*
*searches for "gay dance party" on youtube*
aaaargh dude! No way I'm sifting through this!
*posts first link to come up*
voila.

The fact that "gay dance party" was the first thing that came to your mind bothers me jack. if I weren't already across the ocean from you, I'd be shuffling away right now.

OW! Brain hurt! Though I must agree with you, there's nothing less manly then a gay guy. Well, I can think of a couple things actually.

It's quite not that bad paaiyan, but I do know some people with very 'interesting' ideas and tastes, so I'm not that easily fazed.
I know one person who goes by the name of "Scrote" (even his grandmother calls him that!?!) and he's just very weird - and doesn't seem to have any sort of filter between his thoughts and mouth. He's been through several girlfriends, and seems to have settled a bit more permanently now.
I have no idea about my "man points", but I'm not the sort of man that wears a tweed jacket and goes down to the pub for a pint of best which has got twigs in it and mud and leaves... and I must stop quoting Top Gear.

Well I play the best sport in the world (soccer) so that definitely gives me some man points. Though I'm not exactly a ladies man. Almost 19 years old, single the entire time.
On a side note, wow, we totally hijacked this thread, haha.

I think man points are gleaned more from being like Ben Anderson as opposed to Jeremy ClarksonRagnarok wrote:I have no idea about my "man points", but I'm not the sort of man that wears a tweed jacket and goes down to the pub for a pint of best which has got twigs in it and mud and leaves... and I must stop quoting Top Gear.

I think I just loss man points for watching 5 seconds of that gay party video.
By the way I like the cannon, but I'd like it better if you change the ball valve for something else, lieka sprinkler or piston valve. just my ten cents...

Usually the saying is "my two cents." And I think your man points are alright, it's not like you went looking for gay dance videos or anything.Killjoy wrote:I think I just loss man points for watching 5 seconds of that gay party video.

Damn it, I knew I put the wrong number that started with a "T", oh well...Usually the saying is "my two cents." And I think your man points are alright, it's not like you went looking for gay dance videos or anything.
Now seeing as jack was looking for gay dance videos, how many man points would that cost him? haha

@JSR: Well, I still want Jeremy Clarkson's job...
Well, I think building spudguns gets you man points for DIY skill and destructive power.
But being too smart about it all loses that caveman. HEAL maybe quite good on that front, the plasma rifle will probably be too techy to earn many manpoints.
Oh my god, I'm staying up 'til nearly 5 in the morning to have a discussion about "man points"... I need an injection of common sense.

Having a job like that and getting to be a smug git about it on national TV would appeal to me too

According to Freud's logic, the bigger the gun, the more you're compensating for, so I'm quite safe there
