Is this design better than the otter one?
/edit:
What pressure do you recommend? (it dont't have to be lethal

Sadly I do, and I suspect it will happen in this case.thespeedycicada wrote:it might work but i think the air will just slowly leak out without cycling the valve.
jsr has alot of experience with this phenomenon.

It has a much better chance of working, because you're cutting off the air supply as the bolt moves forward. It's similar in principle to the idea posted here.stereohead wrote:So what do you think of my 2nd design?

Hey tnx, that's nice.
How big does the chamber have to be?
And what pressure do i need for just shooting 'not lethal paintballs' ?

Look likes the semi-auto design i posted a week ago : http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/album_s ... d,361.html
It worked for me, i used a modded sprinkler valve, so it was 2 or 3 seconds before the valve would actuate correcly and the chamber would fill up at about 75 psi. The only way to make a semi-auto mecanism to work faster would be to only use a smal part of the air contained in the chamber.
