It works in exactly the same way as any blowgun does - what most people don't seem to realise is remove the "trigger" and add a spring-loaded weight to a blowgun and you have a de facto hammer valvenivekatoz wrote:This valve I think works on the same idea, only with more volume. Its 1/2" npt. when you press down the lever a piston type thing opens just like the valve in the video..
'Different' air release valve (hammer/poppet style)

It´s a shame you have not referred to my 35 bar repeater design yet jack!!
Maybe you haven´t read it yet...
I used a bucketload of epoxy for crying out loud!
Anyway..
Jack is right.A blowgun is essentially a hammer valve.
That's why I used only the essential bit of it to actuate a QEV.
This way I got both the power and the higher number of shots.
A hammer valve alone would be even more air-efficient.
This hammer valve thing seems to be the latest rage..
These things come in waves, so it seems.
We have seen a wave of MMG's, inline bbmg's a whole bunch of 2"pistons being made, a couple of guys, including me and Jack, tring a pressure activated full auto valve... and now everybody is on to hammervalves..
I wonder what's next...

I don't know why but I want to make a hammer valve gun.
I have already fallen.

You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

can anybody find a animation of how the condor work please, i know how all the other Pcps work but after watching a few vids of the condor, i want to make a high pressure air gun, similar to one that i made using ants design just more sturdier and able to take higher pressures ( 300 psi HPA )

Not much different from other PCPs, only it's an inline valve so much moreefficient, hence the high power that the stealth-talon-condor family is capable of - all explained in detail herecan anybody find a animation of how the condor work please
