sweet. so let me get this straight first of all. you were basically attempting to make a "ghetto lathe" out of a drill press by using the bolt as the chuck? or did you do something completely different? if you have been able to pull that off kudos to you dude lol. heres a challenge for you if yur ever in a shop with a lathe.. try to sharpen your pencil with a lathe. it takes some skill so as to not snap the pencil.

Well, I'm attempting it just for the sake of trying. I own two lathes, a Gingery homemade and a very old Craftsman wood lathe. I'm going to attempt this project again just using the wood lathe. Its kind of a skill sharpener for me.
Unfortunately my dumb ass will not be posting pictures quite yet. I made a mistake out of my back end for my piston when I over cranked my screws. The piston is beautiful, the T is just shot to hell. Had to glue it in to get it to test fire. Oh well, works great. I'll be done with the second one in a couple of days and will gladly post then.

Ok, nevermind, I changed my mind. Here is the cannon, ignore the primer marks on the barrel as its my test barrel and I scrounged it from an old coaxial.

Two remarks, so in the future you will make better guns, with better performance
1 : I see you trigger your gun with a sprinkler valve. That is very good and very fast. HOwever, as I can see, the sprinkler valve is what, about 1 " ? Why the hell do you put a 1/4 " copper T in front of that ??? It restricts the flow enormously. In that case you could even use a 1" ball valve. IT is much cheaper, and performence will be the same. Even at slow opening. This is a wast of a perfectly good sprinkler valve.
2 : At the barrel end of your T-valve, the outlet is 1", you use a 2" T Your outlet should at lease be 1.5 ". 1 " is way to small and restricts the flow, cutting way down your performance.
In a future gun, pay attention to these two things, and it will fire much better. Even with the same parts, performance may almost be double !!
But anyway, I like the gun. Still got to build my first PVC one ....

Well, here is the new piston minus the neoprene and the equalisation hole. Remember, this was turned on a Drill Press...
POS, I attached the T as an afterthought to check my pressure. I didn't want to work on the gun anymore so it was a quick way to test my pressure. Also, I chose to port at 1" due to using a 1 1/4 coupling as my piston.

For an accurate circle on the drill press, start out wit a piston that's a little too large. Get a bearing in a block to mount in a vise bolted to your drill press table and machine down your piston round to whatever you use for a shaft. leave the bearing and the vise in the same position to cut the channels for your O-ring.
