I was wondering is your piston configuration, free sliding or spring loaded. What I had in mind was to attach a co2 line to piston so that as soon as it is piloted it would refill, would this work on your design.

@jasonmithmyer- Looks like either a tire filler attatchment, or a pistol grip blowgun. Both available at home depot

I got the blowgun from my local air tools shop for $4.95. These blowguns are just so good for the price. Makes it better that I've modded it to have that much flow its not funny

Haha thanks alot mate. Does anyone have an idea of what I could use to make a new piston? No matter what sorta glue I use, my sealing face keeps on getting ripped off and shot out the barrel :( I just wanna make my solid rubber piston...Would make everthing alot easier.

Hmm maybe try araldite or maybe try nailing around the perimeter of the sealing face so the nails don't conflict with the seal on the barrel.

Like this picture:

Black is front of the sealing face
Red is the area that will be sealed by the barrel
Gray are the nails, try use thin but big headed nails, or maybe bend them over a bit.

Thats the shit thing about small bore guns. The piston face is too small to nail or bolt the sealing face on. Hmm I'll duck down to my local rubber shop and see what they have. They have some real thick rubber rope that maybe I could use as a piston. If it's not the right fit, I'll just use O-rings. If there is a will there is a way :D.

Another solution is to epoxy some rubber tube onto the barrel instead of the piston, as I do with my minis:

Well looks like I found out why the tape plug isn't holding and the barrel keeps on sliding through it. I fill from behind the piston and I reckon that it seals too well. The air isn't equalising past it fast enough as I pump so it acts like a hydrolic ram and just pushes it out of place.

Nice gun....Very nice... The only thing I would do is use a screw in schrader valve....not the rubber tire one....Its no big deal ,I just thought it would make it look more machined??????Just a thought....Any way cool gun!!!!!!

I havn't been able to find any screw in shrader valves, hence why I use the rubber one. You gotta make do with what ya got :D
