after you pump it up, the pressure pushes the piston against the barrel, sealing the tank because it has equal pressure on both sides of the piston, example 1 psi pushing it forward, 1 psi pushing backward, when you push the little rod on the shrader it lets the psi pushing foward out, so the piston is pushed back and the air that was trapped infront of it is let out the barrel

SHORTENED VERSION: PUSH THE PIN IN THE VALVE :D hope you understand it now, that is the same for all piston valves

Cute little mini, I had missed this one. Shame you can only use it at low pressures though, for such tiny barrel lengths and chamber volume you need at least shock-pump pressures for worthwhile power.
