Brilliant, we've often talked about using black powder barrels but I don't think anyone has ever implemented it before. Also being nice and long it takes full advantage of your large chamber.

Have you done any longer range accuracy tests shooting from distances of say 50 and 100 metres?

Did you notice a significant power drop when shooting without the disque de rupture?

I am modifying my PAC (balance of the masses) in order to be able to draw with long distances to measure the precision.
Without the shear disc, the power is divided by 2…
Highly shootings with 200 bar!

You should try shooting resting the rifle on a bench, or in the prone position with a bipod or similar, to really get the most out of it in terms of accuracy.

Have you taken it to the full 3000 psi?

I hope you're using hearing protection!

Its when you load ammo from the back of the barrel.

He means you should put the projectile in the "culasse", not the "bouche", make it sort of "a culasse mobil"

the gun is threaded in 5/8 UNF instead of the room and it is made to be charged by the mouth…
the problem with the cylinder head it is the sealing with 3000psi.

"Your gun is dying for a breech load!"
"Ton fusil meure d'envie de se faire charger par la culasse."
;-)

You could make a breech load mechanism that is screwed to the barrel, without the need to modify it.

Tu pourrais faire un système de chargement par la culasse qui se visse sur le canon, sans avoir besoin de le modifier.

the barril is threaded inside!
it would be necessary to machine outside to make a threading

Ah, right. And the threads are flush with the hole? There's no shoulder? Care for a close-up photograph? I'm sure people here would provide plenty of ideas...

Ah d'accord. Et les filets sont au même niveau que le trou? Il n'y a pas d'épaulement? Pourrais-tu montrer une photo de détail? Je suis sur que les gens ici pourraient te donner plein d'idées...
