True enough, but I am missing your point.

Please, feel free to expand on your comment. :)

To be totally honest, as I have not tested it past 1000psi with a gas of any sort, ... I don't know. It should not leak.

The design uses quad rings to seal the larger pieces, and now uses a teflon seal on the valve stem.

With increasing pressures, the seals actually "seal better". :)

I do KNOW that my new valve stem and the quad rings do not leak at 850psi. (room temp CO2) :D

The highest pressurized air that is available to me currently is 4500psi. I have yet to purchase a tank though.

Otherwise, I can get nitrogen at up to 6000psi locally. A really nice alternative as it will actually increase performance without increasing pressure.

These options WILL require a regulator, as I have no intention of using more than the 3000psi originally planned for.

Helium is also being considered.

Your english is not a problem. :)

I will suggest that you expand on your comments so that people get a better idea of what you are trying to say.

No, they WILL require a way to reduce the pressure. Do you have any idea how ludicrously expensive a regulator that could output 3kpsi anything would be? I'd suggest an adaptor and needle valve, you could probably cut costs by at least 75%, maybe more, compared to a reg.

Helium would certainly cause an improvement in performance, but would you have enough pressure to make it worthwhile? I suppose that with lighter saboted rounds, it'd make all the difference.

Best of luck with this, I hope that it doesn't develop any leaks at higher pressure (although I can almost guarantee that it will leak to some appreciable extent with helium).

I do not believe that shot to shot consistency can be achieved with a needle valve set up. This will be necessary for accuracy.

I will need a regulator.

As you mention, the cost of such a device would be "ludicrous". :(

Unless I build it myself. :)

I rather doubt that.

It was a compliment! Your gun is awesome, but i'd make only one change. MAKE A WOODEN STOCK. It would look amzing. Carve, it dye, it, and you will have not only a really powerfull launcher, but also a beautifull piece of art. Dam, im so jealous. I relly wish I had the tools to make something like that. Sigh-
