I was thinking of finishing my massive homemade pop-off valve and using ot to go pop-pop-pop- pop-pop at 20 bar...
It works by keeping a smaller hole closed under spring tension. The moment it starts to leak the escaping pressure hits a larger area and the whole thing snaps open.Because the larger area creates more force the spring can't possibly hold it back, but after discharge, the opposing force is gone and the valve will reset.

Imagine a large ( 1 inch) valve that will discharge automaticly at 20 bar, while constantly filling a steel reservoir with unregulated CO2 through a pressure washer handle especially adapted by the manufacturer to exept a CO2 bottle.....

Working on it right now...

So basically Mark's marble mg but with a one inch piston valve instead of a qev and operating at 20 bar off unregulated c02? This reminds me that I need to finish my gavvy piston gun.

if you are shooting marbles and Unable to not loose them or don't feel like going to get them just go to a dollar store partucilry the ones called dollar tree and just a dollar and country dollar. They have them in 100 ct. bags for duh 1.00. Plus like 8 cents tax depending on where you live. If you need over 1,000 look at wholesalers on Ebay or the web shipping shouldn't be too high.

I'm not sure if that's exactly what he had in mind. I have to say though, mark's idea of using a pop-off valve to actuate a piston automatically was great, I was pondering using the idea myself, coupled with a blow-forward breech similar to the one clide used in his GB semi launcher, it would make a great full auto pellet gun :D

I'm just having trouble with building it out of large scale metal fittings. The theory behind it is simple, but in practice it's pretty hard to build.

the GB semi gave me some good idea's but I'll first finish what I'm working on now.A bb strafer off of unregulated CO2 and "overkill"
Both of them are functional, but still are unfinished.

My workshop is not set up yet, so I'm having trouble tightening the fittings on Overkill, and the strafer needs some re-enforcing and cosmetic adjustments.

I'm contenplating combining the two and building a 1"( like the sawed-off), great caliber!!) auto cannon with a full auto-Brain valve ( adaptation of the full auto valve described above) inspired by the GB semi..

Would you have ever thought it?

Nope, although when they get angry about them having strict gun laws and us Amercians not having any, their true grasp of the english language really shines through.

Shownomercy, just a helpful hint. Next time you criticize a Brit make sure you spell your nationality right. But all is excused, we'll blame it on being from New Jersey. :D
Joannaardway and Hotwired, Don't be mean boys.I could barely understand perfectly good "English" when I was in London. The heavy accent of some people was just too much for me.
