My first (but not last) unnamed sniper rifle...

I have been working on this rifle on and off for about 3 weeks now. It isn't my first but is my best to date. It is made from thick wall 3/4" pvc except for the barrel which is thin wall.

All in all the rifle fires
very well. The only time I was able to fire it was at night so I couldnt see how far the projectiles went. They were fired over water so I could count how long till they splashed down which was roughly 8 seconds and that was at only 50 PSI!
I don't have any damage shots yet because the neighborhood I live in wouldn't exactly be happy with me firing it, so I have to wait till most people are at work or late at night. But damage pics will be coming as soon as I can take some! If you have any questions or anything about the rifle feel free to ask or PM me. Hope you like it!

Wow, thats quite impressive for one of your first. Since the blowgun and Sprinkler Valve are quite close anyway, cut the hose down so it just goes straight from one to the other, it'll reduce your pilot volume and wont get in your face when you try to fire

Looks nice, I like the biohazard decal. Just a note though, in America, silencers are illegal, just keep that in mind.

From what I understand, any device made for, or that can be adapted to suppress the report of a firearm by even 1 dB, is considered a silencer, and they are illegal. So even if you make one for a paintball gun, it can be illegal. now, with that said, obviously nothing happens if you don't get caught, just don't say nobody warned you if you do.

thanks for the comments and the heads up about the silencer. to be quite honest im not even sure how legal pneumatic guns are in general, lol. there are a few things i would have changed so i think i will in the second version of it. the main one is the length of the fill tube with the Schrader on it. any other ideas on improvements?

As for the legality of your cannon, as long as it's used recreationally and you're not shooting dangerous things with it, the ATF says it's not a firearm, and therefore not subject to those regulations. Legality varies by state and local governments though.

awesome sniper, I used a ammo holder on my sniper, a lot of real guns have ammo holders on the stock its and old idea for sporting arms

Right, but also my understanding is any silencer bore greater then (but not equal to) 3/4", ATF won't mess with you since it becomes to difficult and a waste of time to use something that large to try and silence a firearm. But unless you go commit a crime or post on some website saying "look at me I got a silencer, arrest me". Your fine.
Nice rifle by the way. The biohazrd symbol and shell holder are a nice touch.

Great looking rifle mate, one thing i would change is the size of the silencer, it looks the goods now but would work so much better if its capacity was increased, at least as big as the chamber
That way your nosy neighbours wouldn't know how the hell all those dents appeared in their fence
Edit: Just make sure you retrieve your ammo!

Make your ammo out of ice, and then it would disappear overnight.

Off topic i know, but i will have to try ice ammo, or rather frozen mince meat like they Jamie and Adam tried on Mythbusters.
Maybe another competition to see what damage can be done with frozen ammo is in order

That is sick lookin! I like the red bolt and black paintjob. The copper/pvc barrel design has never been used to my knowlege and is pretty cool. The only thing that could improve it would be black tubing instead of the clear tubing.
