Alright this is pretty much pissn me off.
My friend and I have a problem with our cannon. We've tried pretty much everything but we keep getting a fog horn noise and a small leak from the barrel. Below are some pics:

Perfect!! Lol no i am having sortof the same problem but not really. First of what i recommend is to get that solenoid off and but plumbers epoxy in the hole. It hardens like steel. Give that some time to harden and you should be good. But something that might be more of a problem is the size of your sprinkler valve. Is it 3/4 inch? Well because i used a 3/4 inch sprinkler valve on my first cannon and i found out that since sprinkler valves have less flow that a ball valve but open quicker than a ball valve, i found that i had not so good performance because it had little flow. In this case i found it that a 3/4 inch ball valve had better performance than a sprinkler valve only because if the fact that it had a larger flow. So maybe try that
EDIT: Woah, Woah, Woah, Just went right over my head.

That i believe is a DWV fitting on the end of your cannon. And are the other fittings also DWV, cause i cant see. That is dangerous and will have to be fixed if not rebuilt.
Now for my little problem
I have a 3/4 inch sprinkler valve that has been moded with a blowgun valve. Now since this valve had crappy performance on my first cannon, i decided to mount it onto my newly created 1.5 inch piston cannon which you can see
here. I just put it on my cannon because my blowgun didnt have enough flow to actuate the piston, and i would prefer to use a trigger actuation rather than a ball valve. So i got the fitting and put it on and tried it out. Now i noticed that it honks even though it has been modded. So can anyone help

If you need a pic just request it.

"I'd venture to geuss that 80% of time, your problem is one of the following:
1) My sprinkler valve makes loud noises!
It's honking. Get a better exaust valve - that is, mod your valve. "

ok call me stupid, but what is a DWV fitting and why is it dangerous?
Also we are just doing low pressure tests for now; just for saftey reasons.
We read that before posting and if you bothered to read, our valve is modded and our diaphram is clear of debree, oh and our arrows are facing the right way. Our problem still exsists.
From the topic "Read before you post":
"If problem persists, you may ask about it without repercussions. "
Anyways, back on topic... any ideas?

Ok Stupid (lol jk), DWV is dangerous only because it isnt meant for pressure. Ratings that say Nsf-pw mean that its pressure rated. DWV stands for Drain Waste Vent while PW means Potable Water, according to DYI.

oh Drain Waste Vent... I didnt realize thats what you meant....
grr I feel stupid... haha anyways... yeah do you think its a defective diaphram or some other rare issue?

Idk what is the size of your valve, 3/4 inch??

non pressure rated DWV is ok to use under 60psi or so.

yeah the sprinkler valve is 3/4 and we wont be going over 50 PSI for inital tests. We are rewashing the diaphram and use white grese

Ahhhh, As i mentioned in my post b4, i modded that valve and had no problems with it honking but performance sucked!! Now i am using my 3/4 inch sprinkler valve to pilot my piston valve.
I know this may seem random bu where do you live? U.S., state or city?

The end of your blowgun has a safety tip. Remove that and tell me what happens.

************ why?...

Yeah it restricts flow, use pliers or something to remove it, it's almost like a nozzle.

ohh cause i thought there might be a chance that you live in Cleveland, Ohio, where i live. Then we could help each other out.
