Hey again guys. I realized this site has been in a lull. Too few new cannons and too many 13 page topics about zombie uprisings. Ive been working on this shotgun for the past 2 weeks its pretty much done i still gotta paint it tho.
stock- all 3/4" sch 40 pvc
valve- 3/4" watermaster piloted by 1/4" bv.
Barrel(s)- two 2ft lengths of 3/4" cpvc. The Id of which are almost presicely that of a 14 gauge. they are on a hinge and snap open to slide in/ out shells.
shells- 2" copper pipe lengths with washers metal epoxied on. Stuffed with cotton wadding and a paper shot cup.
shot/ ammo- each shot cup will hold either twenty .2 gram airsoft bbs, 50 4.5mm steel bbs, or a marble. also suitable for paintballs w/ out shells.
I designed this with skeet shooting in mind. I havent tried the steel 4.5mms yet because of my yard, but the 6mms will absolutely destroy a cd rom at close range. The shot cups work relatively well, but at a farther range the .2 gram bbs produce a very wide shot, unsuitable for a cd. Im gonna see if the steel ones work any better and possibly make a pidgeon launcher to throw the cd's. I also just got 2 rotten watermellons free from work, so expect to see some carnage in a bit.
