What is your air source?

Well I finally finished my OnBoard Air compressor for my jeep, so I can get some off road spudding in. Its a old mopar RV2 AC compressor from a 71' dodge dart, the pressure switch runs it 110-145psi with a 4.5gallon tank under the jeep, and 165psi popoff, with two quick discos under the hood and one in the back. From doing some math on the piston displacement of the RV2 it should out put 12.5cfm.
I drove out to some property my family owns and was tossing golfballs 200-300 yards, so much better than using my Co2 tank or 12volt compressor.

So what does every body else use for there air source?
Compressor? SCBA tank? Hand pump?
Mobile? high pressure? high speed?

Pump is mine no complicated equipment or tanks to refill for me.

Mines is a 10 gallon 2.5 hp air compressor and a 5 gallon carry airtank and a propane tank fill system anddd a 400 psi shocky.

I've been using a 10 pound CO2 tank, and now that I have been making bbmg's (not clouds or vortex's, but still air hungry) I have been paying through the nose to fill the thing up, because it costs 35 bucks to do tank exchange. Arggh. I am considering an air comrpressor, but the money has not shown itself yet. I never take the CO2 tank out of my garage 'cause it weighs a whole lot more than 10 pounds.

That is a nice setup you have there? I wonder how many horses it has....

The jeep had 127hp(its a 4banger) I really want to swap in the OM647 from a sprinter van.

By using an oxygen tank with a 0-125psi reg and a nitrogen tank with a 0-500 psi reg, I can achieve oxy/nitrogen mixes of decent pressure with varying concentrations of each gas. I'll be replacing regulators with adapters and needle valves soon, as high pressure regs are too expensive for my liking.

My only real air source is my old 160 psi bike pump, purchased a year ago and still going strong

i have a 15 gallon craftsman compressor. it goes to 135 psi, works well enough for what i use it for.

I got a foot pump, shock pump, propane, and a 12 volt compressor.

Long time ago I had a 12V compressor but it broken down after two weeks or so.. then I switched to a footpump for a week... and finaly I've built a fridge compressor...

so far it works great - it pumps to 500 psi though I mostly use it at 400 psi now

It would be nice to get a normal compressor but these things are too expensive in Poland and I am not satisied with their max pressure

5 gallon air tank with 12 volt compressor atached and modded to regulate the psi to about 150, shock pump, and a foot pump that gos to 160 but can easily used at 200 cause its metal
