Sorry I am new to cannon making...

1. I was wondering.. Do you have to use batteries once you have a modified your valve?

2. For my first gun, I am thinking about using a Rainbird Cp-100 valve but i have seen alot of people use the orbit watermaster.. Is there any difference as far as perfomance wise?

once you modd the valve you only have release the air from the new valve no batteries needed and for sprikler valves i think they would work the same
