This is my latest cannon, it is very powerful and compact for its size. Lots of fun to shoot and ergonomic.
Chamber:1 1/4" sch-40 steel
Valve: 3/4" QEV
Barrel: 1/2" sch-40 steel
Favorite ammo: 4 marble scattergun shot
Now for some pics

Well, it looks a load of fun to play with. What PSI do you use on this thing? what do you use for a wadding? those QEV's are a lot of fun eh? I like how you cut off the bottom of the blowgun to make it smaller. I really wanna see some good damage pics. I think you should try about 50 BB gun BB's behind whatever wad you use, should be cool.
I am thinking a shotgun is on my future plans. I wanna build a gun that I can shoot clay birdies with.

I like to play blackjack. I'm not addicted to gambling, I'm addicted to sitting in a semi-circle.
Getting those projects wrapped up huh Frank...
A workmanlike model you have here, simple and effective...and should last you a life time. Makes me want to throw one together.
Are you pumping this thing with CO2 like your recent PVC/sprinkler model?

Soooo WHAT PRESSURE WILL IT RUN AT?
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

simplicity, hard to beat it... i was thinking of taking the 3/4" QEV off my PVC cannon and shoving some metal on it so i can use higher pressures.

My regulator goes up to 800 psi with co2...haha, I will probably only take this beast too 350 psi tops and probably run it at 200 psi most of the time.Sticky_Tape wrote:Soooo WHAT PRESSURE WILL IT RUN AT?

Nice little high pressure plinker
It reminds me of the one I built, I originally had the chamber backwards, but then it got too awkward to hold so I turned it around:

Can't wait to see those damage pictures

could i use duck tape or electrical tape with the same results?
Not likely.... Where are you suggesting using duct or electrical tape on a high pressure pneumatic cannon?john bunsenburner wrote:could i use duck tape or electrical tape with the same results?
