Job well done. A bipod would probably help you aim instead of that brick, and will complement the sniper setup nicely. Also, with the bolt automatically retracting, you may want to make sure it doesn't hamper the performance. If it does, make it lock in place.

Welcome to Spudfiles.

In that case, I'll repeat: Job well done.

And be sure to check out The Sprinkler Valve (link in my sig) if you want to learn all about your valve or have any questions on it.

Nice gun. I really like that paint job. It seems like there might be a slightly large pilot volume, but i think that's ok because of how ergonomic it makes the cannon. I also like that breech loading. Job well done!

Not bad at all. :)

Some points/suggestions;

I will suggest that you lock the breech down. It will improve performance and accuracy, as currently it is venting part of your charge from the breech.

Locking down the breech and sealing it, will improve consistency shot to shot, and make better use of the charge.

But, if you're satisfied with it, feel free to not. Your canon, your call.

It looks as though the screws holding your rail in place are tapped right into the valve body.

This is generally a no-no.

A better idea might be to drill and tap a coupler which has been cut length wise, and then solvent weld these in place.

Otherwise, nice, ergonomic and pretty well thought out design. :)

ah the breach is all good it does back 20 to a 15 reducer inside the back of the barel so it fits up nice and snug so none of the power is lost I will have to cut the other one up but I will post a pic of the setup for it it works really good. the polly acts as a seal for the reducer in the back of the gun and the copper on the barrel not only stops the pipe going through the polly but also acts as a second seal. If I didnt let it auto open it drop after the shot it would slap the breach from all the power/

Nicely thought out build, the paint job adds a nice touch. What did you use for the muzzle brake?

It looks like a PVC repair coupling.

ah inside is a 15-20 copper reducer reversed so to but up nice but I really dont know what it is it extends in the middle so it might be like hobbo said and a repair cupling

Really nicely done! Great layout and paintjob. My only semi negative comment is that the barrel seems to have a slight downward bend in it and the barrel brace is a little too short causing a small barrel/chamber pinched look. I know you are accomodating your breech loader in the middle there so maybe there's not much you can do about it.

Otherwise beautiful cannon!... :wink:
