here u can se the evolution^^ of my aur gun projekt. Now some informations, i got an fridge compressor so i can pump up high pressure. and i planing to go multishot. My main valve should be that QEV seen in the pictures so i would like to know how much pressure this thing can handle. In my oppinion the first thing that will break will be the rubber sealing thing^^ i can get 2 shoots out of it if i pull the blowgun fast so i decided to go multishoot. so if anyone of u have some tipps for modding the qev for better multi shoot results. or some tipps how to build an hammervalve easyly. currently i am working on a hammervalve build aut of an pop of and its sealing party but i thing will be difficult and wont work. its leaking like hell atm. and i will also replace the sharder valve. i got some high pressure pneumatic quick connections. i hope to buld the hammervalve realy small that i dont waste much air with the piloting. i have seen btb multi shoot repeater ant it looks realy nice. hes also hammervalve accuated qev and it works. the gun u see up was only to test because thats acctual my first build. but i have much parts at home an a pneumatik shop next to my home town.



So enourgh talking trash :)

i would be happy if u help me to find a good way to build an hammervalve, witch is not leaking and could be acuated at the max pressure my qev can handle :)

God damn. Have a quick thought about punctuating your posts. It'll get a lot more answers.

If you're lazy then a simple hammer valve is easily made with a schrader and an extension spring (external hammer) with trigger/sear. People around have also made automatic blowback hammer valved pilots. For hammer valve pilots it's hard to go past BTB's works.

If you're good with fabrication you could make a tee hammer valve or adapt the airforce Condor/Talon mechanism for a main valve.

But that's a main valve, and you seem to want to use this QEV (from what I gather). BtB did use unregged CO2 in a QEV, though the pressure each will take obviously varies.

Okay, unreged co2 is about 56 bar.

But i posted pictures of my qev. The qev of btb looks like ist malde oh high grade steal, mine seems to be normal brass with nickel cover.

And sharder valves arend rated to pressures over 20 bar i think, and they also wont have enourg flow for piloting fast.

the T also seems like lot of pilot waste. dont care about tools if got lathe amchin and stuff like that at home.

Schraders aren't rated over 20 bar? I use them at substantially higher pressures every day and have never had a problem. Gippeto tested them and they withstood 10,000 psi (no typo, if you don't believe me PM him or search it) though the seals did get cut.

They are fine as pilots for QEV's, penguns and other small weapons. QEV's are manufactured to high tolerances, making them easy to pilot.

okay, i tested piloting with an sharder valve it worked. but not as good as my leaking hammervalve. i will post pictures of it but i wint use it is i much to big and wastes pilot volume.

I wouldn't ever have a leaky pilot on a negatively acting valve. There's a risk for it to discharge without any warning at all. How would you feel if you put your gun down, came back five minutes later and it had shot your cat?

I wish I had a high grade steel QEV!!!

Mine are nickle plated brass as well.

I've put unregulated CO2 on one several times, but I never felt safe around it.
When trying to actuate it with a hammer valve, I really had to knock it open with an actual hammer.Quite forcefully.

That gave me an idea of how much pressure that thing is really holding back...It;s quite scary..
Around 40 bar I reach my " I'm really worried now" state..

i know where to buy, an high grade steal qev wich is tared to 120 bar^^ but it costs over 300 euro. much to expensive for me. but if u like to i can tell u where to get.

Have you thought of just making your barrel a little longer. It would give you a good performance increase without the need for such high pressure.
Personally I don't like to push things more than 10% past their rating.

All it takes is one cracked brittle piece, and you lose.

Better to find another way to get the performance increase you're looking for.
Model it in GGDT to find out how what you want compares to what you need.

I would love to use GGDT, but i use a mac os. GGDT dont work on appel computers. Hm i am planing to use an 1,2 meter battel inner diamater 12 or 10 mm because i like to use weapon ammunition. But atm i am not shure about that. Maybe i also use caliber 55 front loader ammunition.

After i heard that btb hast pushed his simmilar qev to unreged co2, i feale safe to use it at 20 -30 bar. when i completed an working and save hammervalve.
