is propane safe at all? I mean, if the chamber fills with some liquid propane, il end up shooting it out anyway right?

I have not had any safety issues with propane because it fills so slow that the chamber does not get cold.

Propane produces a pressure of around 90 - 100 psi. I've used it as a propellant gas on several different occasions. In fact, I am in the process of designing a pneumatic that uses propane.

There are also some launchers in the showcase that do the same. The only thing you have to worry about is that plastic will have a tendency to produce static, which is not good, but this can be fixed with some static guard spray.

As far as liquid propane entering the chamber, as long as it's just a little bit, you don't have to worry about it.

Another cheaper alternative, is you know, boring old air.
if you really need it to fill quickly, get an empty propand bottle, and pressurise it. then link it to your gun. :)

see, does a benzomatic torch have compatability with the fat propane tanks or just the one it comes with, and pretty much i should just clamb a hose on the torch that leads to the gun and open the torch whenever i want to fill?

Sounds like some good stuff.

For the benzomatic torch i have to take something off? Yes, no? It was mentioned previous but i need the golden spoon im a beginner and this is very vaugue to me ;)

Most of the smaller propane bottles have the same threads, so the long skinny ones and the short fat ones are compatible.

Okay then. Since you asked nicely. Here is a link to my last combustion launcher. The next to the last image has the best view of what you are asking about. I simply removed the neck (it screws off) and JB welded a hose barb (I think it was 1/4" male thread x 1/4" hose barb) to the head. I clamped a hose onto it and it works great.
