Hello

My name is Pascal and im 16 years old. Im from the Netherlands. Im new on spudfiles and im building airguns for a while. First I started with a simple ball-valve and PET-bottle as a chamber on 8 bar. That was fun for a while and I wanted to build something thats easy to fill and easy to fire. Then after a while I found a good video on youtube that explanes exactly how a pistongun works. Good enough for me to build one.

Its really amazing how hard this gun can shoot on 15 bars. The sound is so hard, that it was really necessairy to use a silencer. Even though it doesnt suppres much, but it works good enough. Its all made of copper with an tube inside. The piston(molded glue) with a rubber washer seals the barrel and can hold 17 bar(thats the highest pressure I put in)

Here I got some picture of the gun and also some homemade bullets:

The gun very ghettooooo...:P specialy the silencer :D

The blowgun as the pilotvalve

The bullets, the first 2 are ball bearings and the last 2 are homemade leadbullets .39cal (they look ugly)

It really inpress me how hard this gun can shoot. If I shoot it in the air, I cant even see the bullet flying away. I only hear it flying away.I will make some damage pic soon.

I hope you like it.

Greetings
Pascal

Very nice cannon, if possible can we see a pic of the piston. Two questions: is the handle holding pressure, and how's the damage?

I quikly made some damage pics:P.

Here is a MDF wooden plate of 18mm(shot with the 4e bullet on my picture of the first post):
the front

the back

Also damage pictures of a (dont know what kind of wood) 4 plates of 5mm, and total of 20mm(i putted them together because they all flew away when i shoot it). I shoot this one with the 3e bullet:

the back

Also the piston made of hotglue.
It turned out green of the grease i put on it. Without the grease I cant get the piston seal against the tube with a shockpump. It keeps jamming in it and it slowly blow out of the air i pumped in.

The blowgun can easely hold a pressure of 17 bar (245psi). I think it can also handle 20 bars if my compressor would let me.

greetings pascal
