Hi every one.
I have started my new pcp project. (BTW Gun Freak hope that´s ok to you  )
I had did some big modifications to the blowgun valve, replacing the original rubber seal by a harder seal material that are used in co2 pin valves. Now it deals with high pressure with on problem. I have charged ti to 500 psi, left it for 5h, no leaks at all 8) then I checked the valve internals, no damage :D .
The quick connection is a industrial type, build for high pressure, I add a internal one way valve so I don´t need a ball valve, making it light and better looking.
It gives me at least 60 shots :o , after than the pressure drop to about 300, still very ok for airsoft bbs.
It actually hurts a lot if you put your finger near the out put and hammer it, when fully charged :P
Video about what I got so far:
Also, this topic is for all pcp style small bore air rifles, anybody can post their builds here, keeping the showcase organized

Careful with putting your finger near the output, it can cause an air embolism, just a tiny amount of air might not cause a problem with your heart, but if it gets into the capillaries in your lungs, collapsed lung, in your brain, a stroke.

I still want to see your builds, so please be careful.

Good work too, the finished build will be impressive.

Good for you SB15  , don´t worry, I´m planing on a hybrid too, just need to read the "hybrid fueling 101"
Thanks Zeus, didn´t knew that :)
Gonna buy a drillpress this weekend so I can use it like a lathe and machine the hammer(yeap on this gun it´s still going to be a inline striker) and bolt :)

Looks nice but I think you took "hammer valve" a little too literally :P

But it really does look good, cant wait to see it unfold :)

The sealing came from a co2 pin valve pin, about epoxy I used one with 360 bar rated.

The epoxy is rated at 360bar?

Would that be an actual pressure rating...or perhaps...a mechanical property? ie...lap shear strength

Care to name the brand and type?

Well worth careful consideration considering the proximity this piece is going to have to your face. (yours...not mine...and so is the choice to use it or not)

IMO...it's best to think "if it can fail...then it WILL".

or perhaps...a mechanical property?
Mechanical, 360 kg/cm2
There is no way to fail, I even have drilled a couple holes so the epoxy can grab.
