Net gun

Hey everyone. Have been pretty busy lately but I did recently get a chance to build something. It is sort of in the opposite direction (less destructive) then my first two cannons. It ended up larger then I think I was planning, so I may redesign and build a smaller one. I have not tested it with the net as it has not arrived yet but I have dry fired it and it works perfectly, well except for the bull frog/ ship horn cross that is produced if you hold the trigger down with the airline still on from the compressor. Although the sound is entertaining enough and only occurs if it's still hooked to the airline so I am fine with it. It Has 4 2" tanks and barrels, 4 3/4" valves(I know, 1" would have made more sense probably), and the four valves are piloted by a fifth 3/4" valve.

Sweet! Have you tried it with projectiles to check the timing of all four valves? If not adjusted I am thinking the net will hit at a much less effective angle if not bolo off the last barrel to spit and head in a less desirable direction. Can be not good. I hope it works though. It is a beautiful thing.

Hmm.... now im thinking of a "bolo gun" with a double barrel , anyone else?
It would be half as easy to build and way more fun!

Well I tested with net and it works, dosent have the greatest range, but a net gun isn't exactly a practical devise. I ended up changing the design signifigantly. There is now one 2" tabk, still five valves, and now 3/4" barrels that the projectiles slide over instead of inside. Much lighter.
