This is my new cannon. Nothing spectacular, just an inline sprinkler valved cannon. I got a 62mm barrel for lobbing paintball grenades (yes I am aware of the power/ risk, bla bla). It was made almost completely of of salvaged parts and is all pressure rated to almost 150psi. It has 3 barrels, one 20mm, one 25mm and one 62mm.
The air chamber is almost perfect, the only thing I added to it was a schardar.
It has a 1/2'' ball valve for the exhaust, a pressure gauge and a comfy handle
The fitting for the 62mm barrel was a threaded adapter that fit perfectly inside it, so I glued it in there. Should hold up fine.
Yes, that little rugby ball does fit perfectly in the 62mm but no, I have not used it as ammo. Yet.

Nice. But do you really need a 1/2" ball valve for a sprinkler valve? And why all the colored font? What kind of paint job are you going to give it?

I don't want to go for anything smaller to exhaust the sprinkler valve. I was thinking of boring out a 1'' hole in the top of the sprinkler valve and adding the biggest exhaust I could, after all it can only help. Sprinkler valves don't need the springs inside to function but you would need bracing. I don't think I will paint it, I have no need. But I do have lots of flame red paint.

Lol, I am so sleepy....

Is that a hand pump your using to fill it up?! You really need to get a compressor. Over all i like this gun. The Sprinkler is also used on your shotgun right? Is the shrader just expoxied in? Anywho i like the color of pipe that you used. It looks alot better than crappy, plain, white pipe. With those marbles will do some really good damage with this gun. Great Job!!

Can you please take a minute to spell properly.
Don't you live in Austrailia? That means it is like 3 PM here.
That looks very nice Demon! I especially like the look of the schedule 80 fittings, I always have likes the deep grat color. You should be careful with thoes barrels though, they look quite thin.

Just that tiny little hand pump is all I use to fill all my cannons, kinda sucks.
I have two sprinkler valves, one is on my shotgun, the other on this one. With the schardar, it is attached to a tube which is on a nipple, I drilled the hole for the nipple out of shape so I glued the nipple in there and fixed it into place with epoxy putty. The pressure rated pipe is always blue, the dark blue pipe has a higher pressure rating then the light blue pipe. Even though the pipe looks thin it is pressure rated past 100psi.
I know the fittings are pressure rated but I don't know how high. Higher than the pipe though.
Spudstuff, how did you get a custom tital and keep your old one
Thanks for the comments guys. If I can get water balloons I will use them as ammo (good for paintball, hehehe).

I probley won't use this in a paintball game, it is just a fun little thing. I don't see it as durable enough to last in a paintball game. I used the rugby ball as ammo, I regret doing so because it is now in peices. (from impact on the target)

You Should get some longer barrels for it. If you put 2 90 degree elbows on it you would have a cool mortar type gun.

very nice. that is a big pilot vent for the valve. Is it comfortable to hold? I would grease/wd-40 the grenades and barrel before shooting them.
