Here she is! First time I fired it I had my doubts, It was at 20psi with a marble. I pulled the ball valve and CRACK. But I never even saw a blue flash in the muzzle. The marble left so quick, I am hesitant to try a 300psi shot. UPDATE: longer barrel.

Woah! Thats a pretty awesome gun  Pity large dia metal pipe cost so much, as if the pvc was metal it would look heaps better, try painting the pvc with black zinc sparypaint,it will give a heavy, solid, metal affect to the pvc and make it look metal.

I love that you use a B. Very good gun but why not use the chamber from the hunting rifle? I believe that the blue flash was the marble.

Very nice, but are you taking pvc to 300 psi? Man I wish I had a marble gun...

Yeah that is nice but how could you take it to 300 psi with pvc and thats a rubber schrader which might not hold 300psi. How would you pump it to 300 psi anyways?

A stuper cool strong pump. It might be pn 18 or whatever measurements you aussies use.

I said I didn't see a blue flash. Yea Its pn 18, But its actually rated 3 times 18 bar.

Whats that pipe rated to?, I wouldn't take it to 300psi and PN18 is only around 260psi prof  , Killa what do use to get it to high pressures like that?

Uh, No. Our pipe runs at a 3x safety limit. PN 18 is actually pn 54.

serious? I still wouldnt take it anywwhere near its 260psi rating....200psi at the most. I would use metal for that pressure anyway

Heh... do you ever wonder WHY they rate it to 1/3 it's calculated working pressure?

Because that's all it is: a calculation, followed by a series of simple and uncomprehensive tests to see if they were right. Not flaming you, just saying I wouldn't trust the black hearts of whatever pipe corporation made your chambers pipe and components with my life.

Nice overall gun design though. I love barrel sealers.
