Hey guys this is my 1st Pnuematic cannon. It's a very cheap somewhat Ghetto-ish' looking Marble Cannon. I use a 25mm Ball Valve, a 1.5L Soda Bottle, a 1m length of Irrigation pipe and a Tubeless Tire Valve. I pump it up to 110psi and it's completely air tight. not one leak. Dont worry, I have been pumping up these sorta bottles for a long long time and have never had a blow out. I should be upgrading to a Sprinker Irrigation Valve with a Pull-pin Pressure Relief Valve as the trigger pretty soon. I've got alot of bills to pay so it's them 1st and the cannon 2nd =P Thanks alot for looking!

Hey, welcome to spudfiles!

Cool gun, it looks alot like mine (but mine has a plastic ball valve  )

Make sure that the bottles you use are made to store carbonated drinks, and not water.

Lol I love the irrigation poly pipe (I'm Australian too) I only ever seem to see it on Australian guns, poor americans don't know what they're missing out on lol.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.

sweet as. what ones have you got built so far? yeah i've thought about building bigger cannons but i havn't got the money....plus i love sniping with marbles =P its really weird aye, i changed the chamber from a 1.5L bottle to a 600ml and for some reason...even at the same psi...it's just so much more powerful. it shoots an extra 80 feet or so feet per sec now =D!!

yer, trinity exploded on me, its because i was using DWV parts. they SUCK and if u make any pneumatic gun outta the stuff, it will blow up after u pump it past 30psi i think, use stuff from bunnings and plumber shops. pressure pipe, it's either PN (number indicating how much bar it can hold) or SN (number indicating how much bar it can hold). my pneumatic is made of PN 18, holds about 180 psi safely, dont wanna go past that, infact i dont even know how much i pump into it, i just no that is definatly isnt 180psi, coz thats alot.

haha yeah i know aye. i was such a noob when i 1st started. i never used pressure rated pipe. i'm lucky i didnt kill myself. with my pnuematic and plans for others, i use poly pipe. it can hold a hell of alot of psi (well enough for what i need it for) and all the fittings are threaded so they just pop together, and with that said, you can chop and change your cannons so easy. it's just great stuff.
