SVD Pneumunov

This is my best gun to date. It’s cheap and accurate plus very robust because of the general design and doesn’t have many parts just like the gun I based it on, the svd dragunov. Without much further ado here’s the spec’s.

Specs
Barrel: .22 calibre gun barrel or a 16mm marble barrel
Trigger release: spring actuated button system
Bolt action Breech: Metal pipe with handle
Valve: 19 mm ball valve
Pressure vessel: 29mm pvc pressure pipe
Pressure inlet: 250 psi threaded Schrader valve
Ammo: .22 lead bullets, .22 Air gun pellets, 25cm long nails and 16 mm marbles/ball bearings
Operating pressure: 160 psi

Aiming
A Tasco 3-9*56 scope tuned in with a laser mounted on the barrel

Add ons

A pressure bleeding silencer.
A interchangeable barrel that fits marbles.

Barrel length=58 cm
Stock length=72cm
Overall length=98cm

Other info • The air gun pellets fire a around 620 fps
• The Schrader valve is tap and dyed into one of the copper elbows.

Agreed, the latter valve is simpler to operate, offers better performance and is less likely to through you off target. Still, nice effort on the rifle, I like :)

It is a spring loaded ball valve though and a sprinkler valve would look rather bulky and a rifle like that.

I REALLY like it. One suggestion: If possible, I think you should put the tank inside (I don't even know what its called) the wooden stock/handle.

Great job, that is wicked, you make nice realistic looking guns. Dont ever walk around in public or people will easily mistake it for a real gun. It seams that everyone these days is using smaller chambers. Once again, nice job.

Awesome mate! Just one thing, is there any reasoning on why the chamber has done a 180? Im thinking it would be more ergo if it was like a convential over-under and it would look nicer too. Looks great any way!

The reason i haven't used a sprinkler valve is simple. Because of the money it costs and thats one thing i hope that will put me in front in this contest. this gun is cheap, ergonomic and has a high performance plus it is accurate. And the batteries for the sprinkler valve have to go somewhere.

btw the videos are with the marble gun barrel. The reason i didn't have the .22 barrel in action is because when i got the camera working i had run out of ammo and the deadline was fast approaching (in australia you have to get someone with a weapons licence to buy you inert ammo (air gun pellets,.22 lead bullets))

The reason i reversed the pressure pipe was that your hand slids into there and it acts like a hand guard. Plus when you want to attach a hand pump to the stock you can because the intake valve is facing in the right direction. And the last reason is it looks cool.

I saw a 15mm sprinkler at bunnings for like $14 bucks rated at 12 bar. It would be completely at home on your gun and it is very small. As for batteries you could just mod it and have a blow gun that would actually feel like a "trigger". Any chance of seeing the on-board pump attached and a vid of it working?

No it's broken at the moment (on-board pump) i use a compressor atm, I'm trying to fix it atm.
The reason i used a ball valve was it was lying around and the rest of the parts i came across without spending any money, coz they were my dads.
Also the stock is made out of an old rail road sleeper.

Very good looking gun, but you should treat your mom a little nicer, I mean, she did give birth to you, didn't she?
